Uh oh...

Eeek! It's already started!! I have neglected my blog!!

No, wait. It is just a typical weekend for me leaving absolutely no time for anything personal to do. I barely even have time to do laundry! Oh the horrors! Seriously, my weekend is full of work, work, work!

So what exactly did I do anyway? From 10A until 3P, I installed Windows Vista Ultimate on a customer's computer. Then, after driving near 100 miles, from 4P until 6:30P, I educated my Mom in how to use Google's Picasa. The time before 10A was spent watching Ian, changing his diaper, dressing him, and feeding him, then finally getting ready to go. When I got home at 7P, it was time to change him again, bathe him, feed him, and put him to bed. "Welcome to Parenting" as my beloved girlfriend loves to say.

Speaking of my girlfriend, she is quite annoyed at me today because I spent hardly any time at all watching and taking care of Ian. (According to her...) Also, when I say "quite annoyed" I am declaring an understatement. I try my best but it just isn't quite enough...

So this concludes a weekend. Yesterday I was working for at least 50% of the day, but received a nice amount of compensation for said work. Today was not as such. Tomorrow will prove to be yet another testing day in my life.

Care to come along?

Hey you! Over there!

Sssssh! Be quiet! I'm blogging at work!

Technically speaking, is that a bad thing? I'm sure psychologists would argue that an employee utilizing time to clear his mind of thoughts bothering him/her would, in the end, create a more productive employee. Right?

Either way, I don't care. I am otherwise unsupervised at work. That does not mean I am completely unproductive; just simply a little more relaxive. But wait, doesn't that produce a more productive employee too?

...Nah!

I hate mornings

I stayed home from work today to help Colleen with Ian. She is expecting the first signs of birth any day now. Since her whole family has activities planned, she asked me to stay with her.

I really wish this site had a spellchecker. Alas, maybe they will incorporate one soon. Wait, I just saw the button on the toolbar above. D'oh! Anyway, I was talking with a co-worker yesterday about how much we hate MySpace.com. All the flashing lights, the music, the static background with scrolling text which kills any computer slower than 2GHz... Internet Explorer is such a processor hog on poorly designed websites. Ever heard of Flash, people? Get with the program! However, the main picture is clear. I dislike these sorts of sites! Yet here I am again, forcing myself to swallow the pill of society that I have decided to take.

Why?

Because it's something different.

First time, you're the guest; after that, you're on your own...

I'm watching American Idol right now. What's important is not that I am watching American Idol, but I am watching cable television on my laptop. Furthermore, staying true to a laptop's capability of being fully portable, not one wire is connected to my Latitude. This is of course possible by the streaming media capability of the free service known as Orb.

I have utilized Orb for at least six months, but without streaming TV capabilities. After updating the drivers for my TV tuner and installing the latest version of Orb, the service magically began working. I have been thrilled for the past 24 hours. Honestly, this is great! I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

In other news... Some people just can't sing. Just... No people. No.

I HATE BLOGS!!!

...Which is why I created a Weblog.

Since when did it become so "fashionable" to create a "blog"? Even Microsoft's newsletters are covered in them. I want to read Bill Gate's own blog! Where is it! Someone get Google on a browser NOW!

But seriously, get a life people! All of a sudden, we are forced to read other people's "blogs" in order to get any sense of information. You know what? BLOGS killed the Webmaster! Down with BLOGS! Hang them in the street for all to see!!

Hello, my name is A.J. Touchstone, Jr.
